TVS-E bags Rs. 10 Crore order from IT Dept, Delhi |

Inks an AMC contract for an additional. Rs. 3.5
crores
TVS Electronics, the largest computer peripheral
manufacturer in India, has bagged a major order
worth 10 crores from the Directorate of Income
Tax Department, Delhi through HP, Bangalore. The
order consists of over 7000 Dot Matrix Printer's
and over 8000 UPS systems (500 VA and LanPro
models).
According to Mr V.S. Kamath, Head of
Institutional Sales, TVS-E "This major
achievement has been made possible by the right
product positioning, qualifying stringent
quality norms and excellent partnering with HP
India (National System Integrator) . I am
extremely pleased with the outcome and would
like to commend the timely assistance and
excellent support to all concerned."
The order has been the single largest so far in
the year 2004 in terms of value and products. It
is the largest order for DMPs, 500VA UPS, 5KVA
UPS and 10 KVA UPS. The AMC revenue of Rs.3.5
Crores for this project has also been finalized |
