TVS Electronics expands its portfolio in IT hardware with a comprehensive range of Retail Point of Sale products |

TVS-E, the only organised player in the
country with a varied range of Retail IT
hardware solutions for both organised and
unorganised sector
Chennai, 19 January 2009: TVS Electronics, the
IT peripherals major and a leader in Dot Matrix
printers in the market has expanded its
portfolio in IT hardware with an entire range of
Retail IT hardware products. With the addition
of the POS range of products TVS-Electronics has
become the only organized player in the country
with a vast comprehensive range of retail IT
products for both organised and unorganised
sector.
The diversified range of products include POS
printers (Thermal & Dot Matrix), Integrated
Touch screen, Barcode scanner, electronic cash
register and cash counting machines, Customer
Pole Displays etc.
The POS products by TVS-E caters to suit the
needs of sectors as varied as textiles, food &
grocery, restaurants, hospitals, educational
institutions, beauty parlours, pharmaceutical
stores, jewellery stores, book stores,
electronic showrooms, logistics etc on a pan
India level. Being on the cutting edge of

while servicing the multitudes of customers
visiting the store daily.

aims at building a network of TVS-E owned Demo
Zones across India targeting the retailers to
facilitate a better access to these technology
products.
India has the largest numbers of retail outlets
in the world. Though the market has been
dominated by unorganised players, the entry of
domestic and international organised players is
