TVS-Electronics launches StartUPS Classic Plus |

Chennai, June 8th, 2004: TVS Electronics Limited,
India's largest computer peripheral
manufacturers has launched a new Uninterruptible
Power Supply (UPS) the StartUPS Classic Plus.
This UPS uses line-interactive technology to
guarantee effective protection for multimedia
enabled desktop PCs and workstations even in
highly disturbed electrical environments which
make it ideal for use with desktop computers in
Homes and Offices.
According to Mr. Sudham, Product Manager- Power
Products, "With the Personal Computers becoming
a source for "Infotainment" with larger
monitors, speakers, multifunction devices and
web-cams, etc. the power and protection needs
for today's highly configured PCs and
peripherals have gone up. In keeping with the

Plus a 600 VA UPS capable of handling not only
today's requirements but also tomorrows."
Designed in-house the StartUPS Classic Plus from
TVS-E incorporates features which make it
ideally suited for operation in the harsh and
demanding Indian conditions. With the
introduction of the StartUPS Classic Plus,
TVS-E, a key player in the entry level segment,
with its national presence intends to
consolidate its position.

available at with over 1500 Dealers across over
